I just submitted my first pull request to an open source project
It's not code. It's for a typo in their documentation. They had a title that said Funtions, help and contributing instead of Functions, help and contributing . I added an entire freaking letter to their code base. Still waiting on acceptance. It's been fifteen whole minutes. Sustainable Transport Planning with R Pull request link (I hope) I'm aware YOU don't care. It's a big damn deal to me and I want to say it somewhere, so I chose one my very low traffic blogs that no one reads instead of, say, announcing it in comments on HN or something like that.
