Trying to embed a map on a web page.

I'm trying to figure out how to improve on some local maps for my personal use and possibly for use in some local projects I'm involved with. So I've been digging around in GIS stuff online more successfully than I've ever done. These are my notes. Stamen Maps -- free open source tile set is compatible with Leaflet and Open Layers , among others. Open Layers example code -- So far, I'm failing to make this work on blogspot. But it's useful to have a page of sample code. This helped me begin wrapping my brain around the code. I used to write html websites by hand, so I understand some of the pieces of this code sample.
