Recent conversation with my son:

Current AI efforts are based on training it to only spit back the answers you approve of.

1. This is not true intelligence.
2. Just like beating your slaves until they only say the things you like doesn't mean they actually THINK that, training AI to say what you want doesn't prove that's what it really thinks.
